The nonstationary ideal in the ℛmax extension
نویسنده
چکیده
The forcing construction Pmax, invented by W. Hugh Woodin, produces a model whose collection of subsets of ω1 is in some sense maximal. In this paper we study the Boolean algebra induced by the nonstationary ideal on ω1 in this model. Among other things we show that the induced quotient does not have a simply definable form. We also prove several results about saturation properties of the ideal in this extension.

How Much Weak Compactness Does the Weakly Compact Reflection Principle Imply?
The weakly compact reflection principle Reflwcpκq states that κ is a weakly compact cardinal and every weakly compact subset of κ has a weakly compact proper initial segment. The weakly compact reflection principle at κ implies that κ is an ω-weakly compact cardinal. In this article we show that the weakly compact reflection principle does not imply that κ is pω ` 1qweakly compact. Moreover, we...
متن کاملApproximate $n-$ideal amenability of module extension Banach algebras
Let $mathcal{A}$ be a Banach algebra and $X$ be a Banach $mathcal{A}-$bimodule. We study the notion of approximate $n-$ideal amenability for module extension Banach algebras $mathcal{A}oplus X$. First, we describe the structure of ideals of this kind of algebras and we present the necessary and sufficient conditions for a module extension Banach algebra to be approximately n-ideally amenable.
متن کاملA note on "An interval type-2 fuzzy extension of the TOPSIS method using alpha cuts"
The technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is a method based on the ideal solutions in which the most desirable alternative should have the shortest distance from positive ideal solution and the longest distance from negative ideal solution. Depending on type of evaluations or method of ranking, different approaches have been proposing to calculate distances ...
متن کاملThe Stationary - NonStationary Process and The Variable Roots Difference Equations
Stochastic, processes can be stationary or nonstationary. They depend on the magnitude of shocks. In other words, in an auto regressive model of order one, the estimated coefficient is not constant. Another finding of this paper is the relation between estimated coefficients and residuals. We also develop a catastrophe and chaos theory for change of roots from stationary to a nonstationary one ...
متن کاملA model for the "Fuzzy TOPSIS" based on Zadde's extension principle
The TOPSIS process is one of the most comprehensive systems designed for decision making with multiple criteria, since this technique enables formulation of the problem as decision matrix, as well as the possibility of considering different quantitative and qualitative criteria in the problem. Fuzzy TOPSIS methods have been introduced to make fundamental decisions that make decisions decisions ...
